During the time when 2-5 year old boys obsess over various forms of transportation, boys growing up in NYC unanimously obsess over the subway system. Eli was no exception. He loved everything about "his" F train that took us all over, from grandma's house to Coney Island. This long and adorable phase inspired the F train quilt that still decorates his bed. BONUS: Without planning it, the colors worked nicely with his Spiderman sheets. The F train quilt is old but the photos are current so you can see that it is well loved and wrinkled up. The quilt was made using new fabric and recycled bed sheets (light blue plaid). The circles and "F" are appliqued and the door frame was stitched with embroidery floss. Comments are closed.
