hula hooping friends welcome baby

I love this idea so much!  
6 friends contributed clothing to make a baby quilt for their friend's new baby. 

Here is the story:
My friend Celia teaches hula hoop classes.  In case you didn't know, it's amazing exercise. She and 5 of her friends who also "hoop" put together a collection of garments from various hula hoop events along with other textiles that were meaningful to them.  The result is a sweet and totally funky quilt for their friend's new baby.  The back of the quilt even has a hula hoop shape made from bits of clothing.  It was a blast to make this for them, and I wish the best for this new little gal.
